2014 E350 No Audio

My audio cut out while I was driving on the highway. Music was playing and out of no where the sound cut out. The below is what i have checked and replaced:
- AMP
- Fuses
- Relays
- Cleaned off the fiber connections on the COMAND head unit and every other Fiber end I could find (In the trunk also)
- Did a hard and soft reset of the COMAND unit.
- With STAR computer, did a hard rest of the COMAND unit as well.
Sound for the emergency SOS calling works. I hear sound come out of the speakers and it rings, but no sound through FM, AM, Bluetooth, AUX, etc.
I was literally going to trade in the car because I am out of options here. Only other thing left to replace would be the main battery and AUX battery. My Start/Stop feature doesn't seem to be working and the other day my car would not turn on because the battery was fully drained. Could this be the problem? I had a ESP light as well but that was because of the battery, so i am wondering if the battery could have anything to do with the sound?
I took the car to a local Mercedes dealership to look into it, but of course like 90% of the Mercedes dealerships they'd rather steal your hard earned $160 for the hour than to actually tell you what's wrong. They said that their computer "cannot communicate with the COMAND head unit". I find that either to be a Fiber cable is bad or maybe something with the battery causing components not to work properly? the dealership said they "need another $500 to diagnose the issue and take apart the front panels and trim".
