E550 loose suspension
Hi guys I have a 2010 550 with 74k miles. This last week I noticed whenever I hit a bump there is a loose suspension sound coming from the rear or all 4 corners hard to tell. Almost as if a box is being dropped in the trunk by the wheel wells. The only suspension work I’ve had recently is a few alignments and I replaced the drivers rear shock a few months ago.
gonna try to get it on a lift but if not may have to jack it up and check stuff myself, any thoughts?

Start by checking passenger shock. If nothing else is identified as the cause worst case scenario one or both air springs may need replacement. If you or someone you know has access to Xentry (MB diagnostics) check Airmatic control unit for current software some MY10 212 vehicles "front" thumping problem was resolved this way.
