Thoughts on this E350

Hi everybody -- visiting from the W219 group.

I'm looking at an E-Class for my wife. We are going to go look at this car, but would be interested in any comments/feedback before going. We like the mileage and price, trying to figure out the color (is it grey (which is the color label/description) but looks more gold or bronze in some of the shots.)

Aside from that -- is this a reliable year/engine? Anything specific to look for?

I guess I'm surprised (pleasantly) on price vs year/mileage and see this a a good value.

Thanks all,
Rodie

We will need to know more information... We can't tell you if it's a reliable "year" until you tell us what year it is. Then E350, E550, E400, E250 or what? VIN if you have it.

Didn't see your link until after I typed this. Do the work for us, not just post a link, please.

My wife has the 2012 E350 4matic-- has been great car.
have 73000 miles; doing spark plugs next week
did have front left drive boot replaced under warranty at 40000 miles.
I do most of my own work on the car.
Tires wear evenly on all 4 wheels at 30 psi with just two of us in car
we get about 29 mpg highway and 24 around town
One bad thing is ours has the leaterette seats -
as with most of these the seam is split in the driver seat cushion.
This one of yours also has letherette

Yours seems a duplicate of mine except for color---

One thing my wife missies is the auto dimming headlights

Nice car with good miles from a good dealer, has blind spot and attention assist, pictures don't show other options.
Price is a little high for our market but it's a Benz dealer. Does it have any other options? this could increase the value.
Has the Pano roof, larger gas tank, eight spoke wheels, which I like. Electric power steering and the 276 engine, all good. Also has the 485 luxury suspension. 13k would be a great deal! 14k would be an ok deal.

That's a pretty basic car. Has the lane tracking package which is blind spot and lane departure warning, folding rear seat and that's about it. A pretty basic model. Other options would be the driver assistance package, P2 which is keyless go, bixenon headlights with headlamp washers and active curve illumination and auto high beams, parktronic, power trunk closer, pano sunroof, dynamic seats, night view assist ect. which that car doesn't have. I am impressed that the wood seems fine, lots of times you see cars in the 2010-2014 range with faded wood trim. Also can't see a good picture of the driver's seat, often the seam is ripped in the middle. That car is basically a base model with no options besides P1 which was somewhat standard and the folding rear seat.

I myself would look for a 2014+, those ended up with collision prevention with auto stop as standard but they did a few things that people don't like such as the auto start/stop when you're in traffic.
