Will 2016 bumper fit 2009?

I believe I asked this question before and Chris the Swede, who has experience with this, said that the tail lights on the facelift are actually slightly smaller which means the facelift bumper won't fit on the pre-facelift model (unless you also update the tail lights). I never tried it myself to confirm though, just took his word for it.
