cabin filter
Replaced my cabin filter on passenger side of car under glove box. Watched several videos and it seemed pretty easy. You need a T25 allen wrench to take out the 3 screws that were torqued in real tight. Pulled back carpet plate so you can take down cover. You have to bend and pry a little on both side ends to lower the cover. Once partway down you have to disconnect light socket on right side and you need a small screw driver to disconnect sensor socket on the left side. Once disconnected you can remove cover. Had to use bigger flat screw driver to slide filter tightening slider. Pulled filter down. installed new filter. In order to slide tightening slider you have to push up on filter and use the big flat screw driver to slide so it will catch well.. Put back cover in reverse order. Only you have to really push up on the cover while screwing in order for screws to catch. Total process took about 25 minutes. Would have been quicker if I had know what size the screws were. I am doing all my maintenance now that the warranty is up.
