I just wanted to say hello guys. I recently purchased a 2012 E 350 in near perfect condition. I took it on the first road trip today (400 miles) and it did great. It was mostly mountain driving and averaged 30.6 MPG. So far I am in love with this car!
Welcome! I just joined too. E350 longroof in my case. I have a few other cars but I still reach for these keys when we have places to go and/or things to get. It’s a fine piece for a long drive.
Welcome! my 12 also gets around 31 mpg, Blue efficiency! My 13 struggles to get 28 mpg, it is a sport however. Looking forward to your added input! Lot's of good advice and knowledge here.
On my 13, the sport package was AMG wheels and steering wheel, 677 suspension and rear spoiler, Also different front and rear clips and valance / rocker panels. 677 is lowered almost an inch from 485 luxury suspension which I have on my 12. There might be one other suspension, 486 available as well. If you post your VIN, Koenigstiger will post your options and packages from the build sheet. Just ask nicely and you'll have it soon. Then you will know all the options/ configurations, this is important as there can be quite a few.
Also and I'm guessing here, since the battery in the 12 only charges when coasting and braking, they may have been going through too many batteries and they change the programming in the 13 model year to be less aggressive about gas mileage and let the battery charge all the way, like during acceleration too. Both my cars are 4Matics. I would assume the 2wd'd are a little better on MPG.

I thought I remembered a very lengthy thread about suspensions by a guy "Prahadi" I apologize if I butchered his name, I thought he had mentioned there were three springs available and listed them by spring rates and they were designated by two colors painted on the spring, bur I couldn't find the post.
