Full ILS activated in my W212

I tested Agility mode a bit more on a winding road.
It is definitely different than E in my E250 BT. It holds gears longer on initial acceleration from a stop and changing from E to A or S to A will sometimes summon a downshift. It also accelerates much harder in A when Distronic Plus is active. But as soon as you let off the accelerator it upshifts through as many gears as possible very quickly, at least as aggressively as E. It does not like holding lower gears during spirited driving or downshifting on braking as much as S. It seems confused and half-baked, which is a logical state for a mode that was never intended for this engine/transmission combination to my knowledge. Overall my tentative conclusion is that it is different than E on my car, but it doesn't work well and is certainly not more suited to spirited driving than S.

I believe I’m one of the second in Canada (first in Ontario) and in the world to activate this without Vlad’s adapter. Still in testing stages right now. Amber led for marker light is also deactivated

I was told the traffic sign assist wouldn’t work for USA, but I am interested in the adaptive brake lights. Does Canada have amber rear turn signals or does it just use the red brake lights?

Update
So we have discovered traffic sign does indeed work, but we’re thinking it’s using map data as it’s primary source. As speed limits on my car are shown to be a bit faster, since where I live and drive have changed their speed limits in the past 6 years, should be solved with a map update. Currently have the amber lights back onto the car, but it is possible to disable them. Again none of this was done with vlad’s adapter. I believe this is the first car in North America to have this enabled and also first car to have full ils without vlad’s adapter in North America?
All of this has been done by MBHouse in North York/Toronto in Ontario Canada, my car was the test mule for this haha. For how it is done, I’m unable to discuss this, but talk to MBHouse

That’s nice - but I run Apple CarPlay 100% of the time so the factory navigation is disabled.
Does your car have distronic? If so that is another difference as my car does not.
I’ve heard about MBHouse and if I were closer I would absolutely use them. But as I understand it, the car has to go to them physically for anything. That is not practical - so Vladimir’s module will work best for those of us not local to Toronto.

Well, I find this interesting,Toronto is a beautiful drive up I-90 on the coast and about four hours for me, only takes second place to I-81 through the Shenandoah.
I don't care how they do it, but do care how much, any Ideas on that yet? Glad it all worked for you, I think that's awesome.

I was in touch with MBHouse before Vladimir and learned they can work remotely using Xentry but two local independent service shops refused to participate, citing a fear of losing their Xentry license by allowing an outside connection. If you have a more cooperative shop, or your own Xentry clone, it might be worth trying their remote programming.

@ml3504matic___ Curious to know how much they charge to activate ILS compared to Vladimir?

you will also need online xentry - which requires a subscription as well. it isn’t that easy.

Yes, but you can contact them via phone or email or instagram to see what they say. Haha i was the one who suggested this project/idea took about 4 days to complete. but that was because it was a test
