MB Extended Warranty refundable...?
Factory warranty is 4 yrs, bought 3 more years of extended warranty, to 7 years / 75k miles.
I'm one year into the 3 extra years of MB extended warranty (5th year of ownership), with 2 years left.
Bought from local MB dealership.
Anyone knows if I can cancel the last 2 yrs & get at pro-rated refund?
Example, let's use round numbers & say I paid $3000 for the 3 years, so can I ask for refund of $2000 for the the remaining/unused 2 years, minus some fees...?
Thanks,

Seems the short answer is no. You could transfer it to a buyer though, which may make a private party sale attractive.

You have to read the fine print at the bottom. Refunds for subsequent cancellations vary by state regulation and are described in the Extended Limited Warranty Agreement. You just need to read the agreement to see what your state says. Some people have said they've gotten partial refunds. Others have had it rolled into a new car. If you trade it in to the dealer, once it gets traded in, it kills it for the next buyer but if you offered it directly to a private party, you could just transfer it making it more valuable to sell directly.
