Close to warranty being expired?

Hello Guys,

My ELW was about to expire in a month from now and wanted to get the engine mounts replaced under the warranty so badly.
The vehicle is at 86k miles and scheduled for the 90k miles according to time (3 PPM).

So, problems:
1. Shifting from 2 to 3 and 4 to 5 shudders.
2. at a slope(incline facing forward) put the vehicle in park and the seat vibrates.
If you have these two. Please take it to the dealer. They replaced the engine mounts, as well as they realized transmission mounts, are shot.
After the transmission mount replacement, I felt the shudder only 1 time in 70'ish miles since the service.

While on a call, I can hear static noise from the speakers - especially the one on the dash about the center screen. Turns out the speaker is shot and they replaced it under warranty.
this is intermittent, but if you play some music and try, you may be able to replicate it.

1. Freaks by timmy trumpet.
2. Timbaland Apologize (first 15 seconds)

to see if you have that issue or not.

Sorry for the grammar and all. I will fix it later.
I would be happy if I saved atleast one person.

Hi Raja,

Great tips (esp Re: the Motor and Xmssn mounts) !

I too will want to get as much warranty work done B4 end of ELW if I keep the car.

Question: Is your ELW a "NEW CAR" " ELW or a "CPO" ELW.

I'm told that MB will do same as the 4 yr 50K mile warranty work (pretty much anything except brakes/batteries ect for a New Car ELW but, mayn exclusions for CPO ELW so wonder which you have ?

Looking forward to your response so we can all learn.

Tx

Mine's a used car purchased from a Nissan dealer (was still under factory warranty at the time of purchase).
I was able to purchase the 7yr/100k mile warranty for $3100. Literally paid for itself with COMAND head unit replacement alone.

Replaced major parts:
1. Rear and Front cameras, camera module.
2. Engine and tranny mounts
3. COMAND head unit.
4. Front speaker behind the COMAND.
5. Driver and Passenger MB-Tex seat (torn)...

Update on the noise from the suspension area. Luckily covered under warranty.
Turns out there is some issue with the exhaust hooks or something.

For this issue, they replaced, under ELW:
1. Left side Exhaust manifold
2. Right side Exhaust Manifold.
3. Center Muffler Flange has Corrosion - R&R Rear section of the Exhaust and Center Muffler.

BTW, the issue is still there. The manager suggested to bring the vehicle next week again.
