Boost Presure Smoke test 220cdi

Boost Presure Smoke test 220cdi

Here's one for you learned gentlefolk, e220 cdi went into low boost mode and Delphi system cleared the fault but car ran very rough until the MGMT light came back on again, car ran smooth but no power, took it to main dealer and they cleared the codes and did a boost pressure system smoke test to check for leaks. I'm adding the video they gave me, My question is, do any of you think this leakage shown in the attached video is enough to cause limp mode or engine running rough i.e. off a cylinder or two intermittently?

Replace Bypass Valve and Profile seal, I don't doubt the guys in the dealership, they have treated me fairly to date, just looking for a second opinion or similar experience. Just seems funny the way the car was behaving, I have had boost pressure issues before with sensors, re-gen and burst pipes the car never went off a cylinder before or pulsed when driving at low revs (Hunting we call it) it just went into low boost mode or complete limp.

I think that is just too much. And I'm assuming this was videoed while car was stationary, and not in boost mode. Wonder what it would look like if full boost??

Yeah I should consider no boost also, as far as I'm aware the car was not running during the test, I wonder has any one on here seen this before or had to replace the ByPass valve because of similar issues ?
