Condition of my engine. Pictures of spark plugs included

Hi everyone,

i recently bought a 2010 Benz E550. The dealer did not have any service records. It’s just hit 100k and it’s due for spark plug replacement per the service manual. I removed 2 spark plugs to check if maybe the previous owner had done it and this is what I saw. It looks like the original and I’ll be changing them but I see the dark oily color. What are your thoughts on what this says about the condition of my engine?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

One more thing

NGK makes the OEM Spark plug. They sell the laser platinum original spark plugs for 20 Canadian dollars but the iridium ones for 12 bucks. Everywhere I hear, I hear the iridium ones are better than other metals. How come it’s cheaper in this case.

The spark plugs look to have normal wear. The tread has anti-seize residue, not oil.
