Android Auto on 2016 E350
Apologies in advance to all jumping on this thread, as I know this topic has been covered from Miami to China and back - I must be stupid. There, I said it.
I definitely do NOT Android Auto currently in my 2016 E350, and I would like to install it. According to the VIN Decoder I obtained online, my Head Unit is 3U2, and my Command is NTG5 /NTG5.5. Delivery date was 03.19.2015.
Am I able to request Android Auto to be installed by my dealer with this configuration, or must there be some kind of dealer update/upgrade for this to be accomplished?
And because I am admittedly stupid, here's my next question: Android Auto does not replace the standard Command applications, right? It's just a setting, like choosing CD or Bluetooth device. Correct?
