Brake lights wont turn off

Brake lights wont turn off
Have a w212 2015, the brake lights wont turn off. Have checked the switch under the pedal, even had it disconnected and the light still wont turn off. In the dashboard it says that the trailer right or left lights is broken.
Also have located the data box for the trailer in the right back, the box have three cables in it, if i disconnected the middle one (dont remember the color) the brakelight turned off at first but now it wont, wanted to see if someone here can give me some tips to locate the problem.
Have also checked the brakefluid and all relays but no problem there and theres no warning lights in the dashboard.
When i disconnect the switch under the pedal, is the light suppose to shine anyway?
