Hi,
My E350 Coupe has a broken passenger seat. I engaged the lever on the seat for it to move forward to gain access to the rear seat. I pushed the seat back and expected it to engage and roll back to the previous position. It did not and has not moved since. I looked to see if something was blocking the track. That's when I realized that the seats don't move on tracks but screws, two screws actually. Then I noticed that there was a fairly long wire coming out of the seat motor. It looks like a pipe cleaner but more robust. When the motor gets power, it spins at both ends and the end result is the seat moving. I want to know what is its function of the wire and where it belongs. A detailed seat assembly or diagram would be a big help.
