I noticed on my 2015 e400 some play in the front grill front to back, when pushing on it it moves about half an inch - trying to figure out if this is normal to protect it from impact or a botched auto body repair when the grill was replaced. Anyone want to go push on their car and see if the grill moves a bit?

My grille doesn't move in its mount.

Thanks .. if you push the top edge of the grill surround - the body colored edge that meets the front of the hood, does it move forward or back at all?

Never mind I have found the problem - three big clips were not installed. 😑
