Is this a thing to do with these cars? Mine are showing a little heat rust and was thinking of painting them Yellow, White or gloss Black? It's only a E220 so the brakes aren't the biggest so not sure if it's the right thing to do.
I usually opt for subtle changes, in this case the rotor hat/edge were painted black, calipers silver and the MB lettering was refurbished when I did brakes and rebuilt the calipers. VHT caliper paint with clear coat seems to hold up well but with anything painted the key is in the prep. Poor prep = poor results.
