I have a 2010 E550 with 4matic and sport mode. I was driving it yesterday pretty hard, using the paddle shifters, keeping it pretty close to redline, and the traction control and abs went out. I hit the tc button to no avail. I parked the car, cut it off, let it sit for an hour, and it worked fine the rest of the day. At least no lights came on. Taken 2 weeks before incident. Ran a complete system check.
Also car has straight pipes which are pretty loud and cause a lot of vibrations where I was running it, needs a slight alignment, and got into a fender bender on the front right last year. I replaced the FR suspension airbag and drive shaft. Needs parktronic sensors 5 and 6. Also did some body work. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks.
I'm hoping maybe a bad wire on a speed sensor.

2nd: Current codes???
The traction control light and the abs light came on. I hit the tc button and they didn't go off. As far as codes, borrowed the scanner so I'll have to get back to you.
I haven't had a problem since. I scanned it on a good scanner and it was fine. I scanned it on a cheap scanner and got a code for the wheel speed sensor. Maybe that's it. I'll keep you posted.
