Seat comfort issues— any resolutions?
Hey all— I recently picked up a ‘14 E350 Wagon with the active heated/ventilated/massage seats (designo leather, as well).
I’m loving this car, except that after about 30 minutes of driving, my left thigh started aching, becoming pretty unbearable after an hour or so. I see lots of older threads of people talking about this issue, but unclear on resolutions. I’ve got 4 days left that I could return the car, so I’d love to see if I could resolve this before then.
I’m a big guy (6’6, 260#) but the fit is pretty good, the problem is this rock hard right bolster compared to a super soft center panel.

If you can't get comfortable, return the car. I have learned my lesson on this the hard way - more than once. It's just too fundamental a thing for daily life to compromise and hope you can modify the seats somehow.
The W212 seats are acceptable to me. They leave a lot to be desired, though.
