Engine mounts replacement mechanic or reference plz
Hi,
I want to get replaced my E350 2011 4matic sedan engine mounts replaced. I ordered Corteco parts. Can any if you please recommend a good and affordable reference or mechanic in Chicago area. Specially in Glenview, Northbrook or Skokie area. I appreciate any help also if there is a body shop where I can get replaced all my wood body trim as I got new one. Thanks

If you want the instructions on how to do it, all the dealer repair info is in the WIS and you can get a knock off copy of it on eBay for around $8.50. Not that easy to use, but once you figure it out, it will have PDFs of all the repair procedures including how to remove the trim. I assume you also got the transmission mount also. That one is pretty basic and straight forward.

Having said that, there's many threads on here about replacing the mounts and a few of them already have the procedure mentioned in it. Just do a search in this forum. Replacing the wood is mentioned many times along with many gripes about it.
