E200 CGI P030400
Hello all, i own a 2010 E200 CGI Blueefficiency with the M271 Evo engine . M271.860 and it has done 32k Miles.
I was able to open the misfire counter on my OBD scanner and it seems like cylinder # 4 is misfiring, also got DTC P030400, misfires stops above 2500rpm. I replaced the ignition coil and spark plug but did not fix my problem, 4 weeks ago I replaced the intake manifold gasket but the # 4 cylinder seal was not included, so I left the old seal which now makes feel that maybe the issue with this seal, i am gonna replace the # 4 cylinder injector and the intake seal tomorrow, and check for vacuum leaks in the manifold hoses and if the problem is resolved i will let you know immediately, otherwise I will perform a cylinder compression test because if there is no vacuum leak and the ignition coil, spark plug, injector are all good then it must be a valve or piston ring issue which i totally disregard at only 32k miles. If anyone has any other suggestion or a similar encounter with this engine, please let me know and I'll keep you posted. Thank you all.
PS : I'm a freashly Graduated Mechatronics Engineer.
