e63 wagon 2014
Help finding part number.

I have a 2015 e63s wagon. It's a Canadian car. My headlights fogged up and many of the functionality is not working after being in the snow. High beams blinkers etc. I noticed cracks at the bottom of the headlight that I must have missed before. I need to replace both full units. Looking to replace them but can't find any.

The part of the headlight says "Hella 906 33 03KZ and 34" on the other side.

Anyone know what part number I should be searching for? Here is my vin so you can see what options I have - WDDHH7GB5FB135229

I see full dynamic MB light with part number 212 820 27 39 but not sure why that's different part number than the ones on my car.

Any guidance would be great.

212-820-27-39 - This is the correct part number for the left headlamp
212-820-28-39 - This is the part number for the right headlamp

These are not made by Mercedes. They are produced by Hella, the OE supplier.

Be aware these also have control modules and if those got wet you may need to replace them as well which is additional. Also, they will require coding to the car they will not just plug/play.

Do you know of a way of testing the control module and/or the headlamp assembly to know which is the problem? I get 5 errors on my dashboard when I start the car that say headlight blinkers etc not functioning

Also is there a part number for the control module? Is the ballast the same as the control module?

As suggested shop 2128202739 & 2128202839 eBay lists cost effective new HELLA equivalent & OEM used. There are two modules: voltage converter left & right current part # 2228700789 or 222870078980; light range adjuster 2189007306 or 218900730680 check for corrosion @ connections. Feeling ambitious, open modules to check inside.

Bumping, also do you think I would be able to just use regular LEDs instead of dynamic?

No, you will not be able to go to static LED. It is not simple plug/play and no E63 in 2014 came with the static LEDs.

I'll piggyback on this thread if that's okay.

I just started getting a CEL thrown by codes P0346 and P0347. I read that this could be a cam sensor wiring harness issue... but I'm having trouble finding the wiring harness. Anyone able to provide a part number? Should I replace the sensor along with the harness? Thanks.

assuming you're talking about a 212.091, there's at least a dozen harnesses depending on options. and yes, you should change the cam thingies too, and no, I don't know what part numbers those are.

This wasn't what I meant about posting in another thread, as this one is also unrelated to your inquiry... Also as LCG notes, you'll really need to provide a VIN as well for accurate PN. If you don't feel comfortable providing VIN, then your local dealer should be able to provide PN and price.

Nope, I'm gonn'a disagree. This thread is about "Help finding part number". And since I need help finding a part number, this is a valid spot to post. Why not have a post where people come when they need help finding a part number? We have it for pictures and other similar "help" topics.

indeed, this topic has a terrible name. it should be '2015 E63 headlight part numbers?' or something similar.

forums work much better if there are specific threads with recognizable topics for specific questions, instead of huge rambling threads

Your VIN is invalid, missing a digit.
