2012 E350 Bluetec radiator fan running at full speed constantly
Hi i'm new to this website and i've run into a problem that I can't seem to find really any other info about online so I figured I'd ask here. My 2012 E350 Bluetec started having this issue where from the moment I turn on the car's electricals to about a minute after turning it off the radiator fan runs at max speed. I've gotten the error code checked and it's showing a fan short curcuit to positive error. The car had just been in to get an oil leak checked which turned out to be from the oil filter housing. They had to move quite a bit of stuff to get to it so if something that was moved might not have been put back correctly or something i'd love to hear your guys' imput. Any help would be greatly appreciated in helping narrow down what kind of fix would be needed and if more info is needed i'll try to provide it if I can. Thanks!

When I removed my Hvac display to run wires for my new 13” screen, I started the car to move it out of the garage and the fan under the hood was full bore, actually sounded like a whirlwind machine.
I quickly reinstalled the Hvac display/panel, restarted and back to normal. So, maybe a loose connection or bad wire going to that panel? Just a thought, good luck.
