OM651 CEL - B60 (back pressure sensor)
Hey guys,
It is the second time that happens. Do I have to replace the sensor already?
As you can see from the screenshot(sorry for the non-English language) the error was stored even before starting the engine(Key on). The Engine was not even idling(0RPM) if I can trust the data. The error is P047128. Backpressure sensor failure. The signal is out of range. This is the translation from the Xentry.
What happened. I was driving(all good) and went to the grocery shop for food. Getting back in the car starting the engine aaaaannd limp mode(no CEL). I have tried the trick with Engine ON/OFF but no luck. CEL came on after the third engine restart. Went home to get the laptop and that was the data stored. The error wasn't active only marked as stored. The same error occurred a month ago as well.
Clearing the error fixed the car and it is driving well again... at least for now.
Any advice? Shell I replace it or wait for the magic third time to happen. I also believe that the cold weather has something to do as well
