Hey everyone I have a 2010 E350 4MATIC US spec with about 95k miles. I recently got the seat patched and it looks great where my seat began to crack through. However, I have noticed a new area of cracking, but it has not penetrated. How long do you all think before it goes through the seat, is it worth any attention, or should I get it patched again. If so, when?

wow, the old MB Tex on my W124's (Germans called it Taxi-Leather) lasted 30 years and 300K miles without cracks, it just got a bit shiny on the wear surfaces.
this new stuff definitely feels nicer, more like actual leather, the old MB-Tex was unmistakably Hide of Naugha.

Wait till it gets worse and find a revised seat cushion on ebay.
My blue jean's metal badge at the rear pocket damaged the seat as well. It was just a little scraping off the black dye off the side of the seats .I didn't have it repaired but when I took the car to the upholsterer to make the front seats more comfortable he repaired it without asking .
MB-Tex on our ‘11 wagon is perforated. The seats are not power-ventilated. I could be wrong, but I think that’s only a option in leather...
How about that. Ours is the leather with ventilation (and perforated). In some ways, I wish we had the MB-Tex. The leather isn't the best quality IMO, although it's held up reasonably well.
