Question How to disable grid lines in backup camera?

2016 E350

Besides a bunch of yellow lines, there's two white lines that look like the painted lines on pavement.
A lot of times it's hard to tell which white lines are the parking space, and which ones are on the camera.

I'd really like to get rid of those lines on camera...if anyone can share how to do that I'd appreciate it.
Tried looking through center console, but didn't see such option.

TIA

Its actually in the camera head, you would have to find a replacement camera that comes without the markers, most "reverse" camera's have it, "rear view" camera's dont, there is a difference.

Unfortunately most sellers refer to their product as rear view camera so its hard to tell, just ask before buying 1

I doubt you can achieve that!

Why not embrace it!

i find those white lines real handy for seeing when I'm lined up with the curb when I'm parallel parking.

I don't think they are built into the camera, because they aren't here in the super wide view, which uses the same camera. but getting rid of them would likely require modifying the COMAND software in the Hu5S1 that displays them, good luck with that.

I have had some reversing cameras wired to a plain monitor to fault find and they nearly all come up with the lines, I admit I have not done 1 on a Mercedes yet but I cant see them doing it any different, maybe Mercedes has a way of disabling it.
