HELP!!

a normally aspirated 3.5L V6 will never sound like a twin turbo 600HP 4.0L V8.

I respect people that want to keep their cars quiet, and I will no belittle them. I expect the same respect when I make my own decision.
To the OP I would start with an x pipe, and 2.5 inch pipes (3 may no only sap power, but drone as well). Stay away from booming mufflers. And make sure you get an xpipe as close to the engine for performance and to lower drone.

I've been remiss in not following this thread closer. Here in Texas, most of the loud exhaust vehicles are F250 or F350 or Dodge RAM trucks. The Chevy Silverado crowd seem more sensible, I notice. Since I don't want to be lumped among that ilk, I'm happy to tool along slealthily, just occasionally rocketing away from a stoplight. The stock exhaust sound still impresses me enough.
Plus, in my community, I see 5-6 Mercedes-Benzes for every mile I drive. At every stoplight, there's an excellent chance there are 1-2 other MBs in the queue with me. When the light turns green, all pull away without drama. And I don't want to be the one to squeel tires.
We also have several Ferraris, Aston Martins and other exotics, too. And I seldom hear any of these showing off, even though they can make quite a racket when they want to. So best to fit in for the most part.
