this weekend I decided to keep myself busy and try figure out why my passenger mirror keeps opening too far. I opened up the housing and here is where Im stuck
I move it back and forth and it clicks in-between.
any mercedes mechanics have any tips? I've been searching and reading other forums but no concrete answers on how to fix this specific kind of mirror..
Powered folding mirror option on the car? When you say it opens too far... you mean after the mirror housing is folded, when it extends it travels too far forward (to toward front of car)? Have you checked any parts diagrams, are the internals of the mirror available?

Yes, when closing it folds fine but when opening, the passenger mirror goes past where it should stop and the back of the mirror is flushed against the door. I'm looking for parts or diagrams but no clue VIN is WDDKJ8JB4EF256124
