LED Headlight Conversion Questions
My question is, is there an LED upgrade that is effective and works well? I understand that LED bulbs work better with projector headlights. I heard that a resistor will need to be placed between the light and the connector to prevent warning lights and flickering.
Can anyone recommend a specific brand or company that has worked for them? I'd like to replace the low beams and keep the halogen high beams.

were *notorious* for this, nearly every one you see on the road today has yellow hazy headlights.I think the contrast between the HID lights of my Jaguar and the LED's of my Jeep (Truck-Lite 7x6 LED's) is making me think they aren't very bright. My wife doesn't drive much at night and she doesn't see any problem. I'd just like to make them better for the few times it goes out at night.

And did you need a Canbus decoder or resistor? It says that Mercedes will require one to prevent flickering.

A factory LED system may outperform a factory HID system, but an aftermarket LED kit is not going to outperform an aftermarket HID kit. The contrast with LED might be greater giving the appearance of more light, but the opposite is true.
I've owned many HID and LED cars, and many aftermarket HID cars. You don't really want an aftermarket LED kit. It's just not 100% there yet optically.
