Nope.

FWIW, there is a fairness hearing scheduled for next week and payments will not be sent until the court actually approves the settlement.

"The Court will hold a Fairness Hearing on July 12, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, located at the Martin Luther King Building & United States Courthouse, 50 Walnut Street, Newark, NJ 07102. At the hearing, the Court will consider whether to approve the Class Action Settlements, payment of attorneys’ fees and expenses, payments to Settlement Class Representatives, and related issues."

Once you did AEM, you can sell the car, as I sold 2 of my Bluetecs already.
The GLE I just purchased had the AEM done before trade-in, so I can enjoy extended warranty only but no check.

If I am buying a used bluetec, how can I tell if this recall has been performed? I want to buy a W166 OM642 or OM651 diesel, but only if it hasn't been molested by this recall so I can do the DPF/EGR delete and ECU tune.

When there is extended warranty post AEM, the seller will always tell that.

I recently bought my W251 with the OM642 bluetech engine and found out that when the previous owner who took the car to a MB dealership in LA for the settlement, this dealership didn't replaced any of the parts they claimed they did. So now my car has been sitting in my local dealership lot waiting for over a month to get this part so that they can fix something that was supposedly fixed 2 years ago. How much do these parts cost you may ask? Just the two cats, parts alone, are almost 10k. I presume when my dealership is done, easily close to 20k parts and labor. Moral of the story? Don't assume that because you received the money and the fix from the settlement the work was done. I found out myself doing routine work on my car that the parts looked OE.

There is something not really making sense in your reply.
DPF/CAT cost in the range of $1000 (dealer price) so making $10,000 for it sounds like making up the story.
Than I doubt the dealer could sign off AEM, without doing AEM. That would be a crime.
Different MY have different scope of AEM. When on my Sprinter with I4 the only new part was Nox sensor, on my E250BT, they replaced DPF with following parts and the total bill for the settlement was less than $8000. I had the talk with SA.

Hmmmm...ok. You are entitled to your opinion, but that is what happened. As I said, my car is sitting in the dealership right now waiting on parts. According to my service advisor, the MB rep gave the go ahead and now they are waiting on the parts. My service advisor told me the specific parts the dealership replaced were 15k parts and labor 2 years ago. The cats alone for my cars, and there 2, are almost 5k each, anybody can search that themselves.

Like I said you are entitled to your opinion, all I am speaking here is the truth according to the information provided to me by the dealership making the corrections. I love the car, I honestly wish this would never have happened and trust me, I did not purposely go looking for this, but it is what it is. You can believe whatever you want.

You are pasting the same story all over the internet and even you have W251, you posted in W211 section.
Looks like you are on mission.

first of all the settlement covers different models. Second, my only mission is to make public my experience. I think this the right forum for that. Last, am I on a mission? Mission for what? You sound like one of those who wants cast doubt on everything by the fact that you right away started to take issue to my true story. Maybe you don’t have anything better to do with your time or maybe you have “interest” in creating doubt about what I wrote which is 100% true and you sir have nothing to go on but your “assumptions”. Do you really think my situation is unique? Or are you just one of those people who all the do us come up with conspiracy theories? I am just asking.
