Insulating fuel lines and...
any one have insight on ina sulating the fuel line from the high pressie pump And the purge lines... specially how to diagnose this.... this was a solution to anther members issue with a ticking noise that came from the engine after warm up and never got worse over time..

yes it is a 2010 E350 naturally aspirated v6... so maybe a lifter? I thought lifter tick gets worse..I should mention i just took it on the the dealership and they replaced a pull that occasionally squeaked like twice since I had the car and the ticking noise was prevalent then just but since it didn't throw any codes I bought it..

Is it this sound? Mine has it. The good news is it seems to be a fairly common problem but I haven't seen any reports of it causing engine failure or performance degradation. Some comments in the video report success using Lucas synthetic oil treatment. I might give that a try next time...
