NVH parts replacement intervals
I'm wondering when people find it worthwhile to change out things such as the engine mounts and consumable suspension parts (bushings, shocks, etc) for a noticeable difference in NVH? I already changed out a collapsed trans mount roughly 15k ago when doing a trans service but the engine mounts *seemed* fine at that point, and the shocks must be somewhat worn by now, though I'm not sure how much a difference changing them would make. Some say 50-75k, some are pushing them past 150k. I do live in an urban area with less-than-perfect road surfaces.

Motor/Trans mounts are typically 60-100k, 6-10 years. First signs are vibration in cabin/pedals when shifting into drive/reverse with brake on. Some who are perceptive and have owned the car for a while, just "feel" more vibration in the cabin/pedal while driving. Suspension components IME are 90-120k, 10+ year.... a lot of it will depend on the roads driven (highway vs. NYC/DC metro pot hole heaven). Bushing and balljoints will start clunking, squeaking, and/or creaking when they wear. Shocks will result in harsher ride and more body movement.
Having two 2011 100k W212s, both needed motor and trans mounts. All front suspension ball joints are tight and boots are good. The only bushing due for replacement is the thrust arm one, based on cracking and "feel". I plan to replace the shocks as well, having one of them out it lacked rebound. No visible signs of leakage, but the ride seems harsher.

I can't say that I've noticed any ride issues or any noises, but I plan on keeping this car for as long as it'll go since the 17+ E is a disappointment for me, and I don't trust that in my 7 years of ownership I'm able to pick up on the slight degradation, which is why I ask.
