The far left driver’s side windshield washer nozzle is cracked and not spraying washer fluid onto the windshield. Has anyone here done this replacement on their W/S 212 and could you post a DIY. I already tracked down the part number (212-860-08-92) for the heated nozzle unit. Just need the procedure to DIY. Thanks.
I just did this job on my '11 S212. What a treat. I had two of mine cracked, AZ heat to blame I'm sure. The fun part was removing and then aligning the wipers. I'd marked the windshield w/ painters tape to indicate where the wipers should rest. I didn't anticipate the brief struggle to get the arms off. Learned you need to take the tension out of the arm by lifting it off the glass entirely. But still, the shafts will move. Got them aligned on the second try but it was a bit of install, close hood, turn on car, wipe, turn off car, pop hood.....
My cowling / water collector has leprocy so I'm going to see myself doing this again in the future (sans getting into a fender liner....)
I'm pulling mine off to do another job soon, so I grabbed a new one to replace WIIT and before it becomes a problem. This is a part of the car I don't really want to have to "unfurl" more than once...
