Well I’m new here so let me start off by saying hello to everyone. Im a new member but definitely not new to the website as I’ve been using it for years as I’ve owned a few Mercedes. Just never got around to signing up. Every question I’ve ever had I would type into google and just read the results most of which came from here. This time however I couldn’t find a answer so I pulled the trigger and made a account lol.

My issue is with my audio system. I have the bang and olfsun sound system and the bass cuts off almost immediately. A little back story on the car it’s a 2014e63s with almost every option available. (Missing the carbon fiber package). Purchased it with 26k miles 3 months ago. I’ve been searching for this car for a long time so when I found one with the right options I pulled the trigger. Had the car inspected by Mercedes before purchasing and they told me the car is immaculate. I thought maybe the miles were rolled back but I paid extra for them to check the cluster and ignition to verify the miles are in deed correct to which they told me they absolutely are the is flawless. So I decided to purchase the car even though I had my doubts about the miles because I’m in my he industry and noticed the seats were a little more worn than a 26k mile car and also the Mercedes emblem was missing from the engine cover. ( I know it’s common)but for a low mile car I expected more. Anyway after I got the green light from Mercedes and they let me check out the car on the lift I came to the conclusion that a heavier set man must of driven the car and since it’s from Texas with no tints the leather probably cracked due to it being dried out and a heavier guy being in it. At least that’s what i thought and 3 Mercedes techs agreed with me. I’ve been in the business for cars for 10 years so I’ve seen it all. I went ahead with the purchase after weighing the carbon brakes and seeing there was basically no wear on them so the car must of been some big guys weekend car that he parked outside his house. (That’s what o think at least) bought the car and fell in love instantly. Also took it to my own mechanic and he confirmed what the Mercedes techs said. Fast forward a month later I hear a noise coming from the steering system. Took it to my mechanic and he found the driver controller arm was cracked and the crack was spreading (fast). Called carvana and they ended covering both lower control arms passenger and driver side. As well as getting me a brand new wheel since the front passenger had a slight bend. I didn’t even notice the guys at pep boys did. Carvana ended up sending me a brand new wheel for free! Which is awesome because now I have a full size spare tire laying around. They also paid for a alignment which was pretty cool in my opinion. The car does however need a detail to which they are sending me $100 for a detail. I don’t know where they got 100 from but details cost way more than that. 3 months later and I still haven’t got a check for the detail. Also my parking break does not engage which they said they would cover also. Now to my main point.

My bang and olfsun sound system is having issues a now after 3 months of ownership. I love hip hop and have my bass turned all the way up always. One of the main reasons I was looking for a E 63s with the b-o option. But now right away my bass turns off and it sounds like my amp also gives out. It goes frol
concert sounding to my phone sounds better. I don’t know what the issue and carvana won’t cover it. The battery looks new also but it’s not Mercedes battery it’s a (full throttle) battery. I looked up the battery company and they are pretty good and also more expensive than Mercedes. What could be the issue here?

Is the battery not supplying enough power for the bang and olfsun system? Is my amp going out? Is there a short somewhere? I’m so lost and I honestly thought I’ve seen it all working at used car dealers. This is a first for me.
