Front plate holder / bracket

Lost it along with the plate during recent Ida flooding. I have a 2016 E350 4matic wagon with the 772 AMG appearance package. Looking for a replacement but cant bring myself to pay $130 at the local dealer. Any thoughts, ideas, "for sale" are welcome.
Thanks.

I have a plate holder from my 2018 GLE43 that I don't need. I don't know if it will fit(I just looked at it, and it mounts to the 4 EU plate holder bolt on locations), but if you want to look it up, or I can send a pic and if it will work it's yours for the shipping....

I have a tow hook mount as well. I couldn't bring myself to drilling holes on the front bumper.

4 nylon bushings of various depths to bring the bumper elevations to a single vertical plane, then mount the plate. Costs about $1.50 and you don't have to look at any excess plastic.

heh, I live in a front plate required state, but my car came from out of state, and the front plate holder is in the trunk, never mounted, and I've not yet brought myself to drilling the bumper. 9 months now, and we've not been hassled. I figure if we get stopped, I'll pull the front plate out of the trunk, act stupid, and say I couldn't figure out how to attach this to the bumper.

Thank you. The part number I am looking for is A2128851681. Is it possible for you to confirm the part number on the part itself?
Thanks

I could also live with that. But my bumper cover now has holes showing so I would rather attach it. I would think that the holes alone would attract attention.

pretty sure that will NOT fit, as the ones for a 212 require drilling holes into the bumper for self tapping screws, there is no euro plate holder.

Thanks. I thought about that. But I would rather have the crackle of the holder serving as a "too close" warning to a$$#0les rather than the bumper cover, or even worse, the distronic covering emblem.

The part number on my front license plate holder is A2928851081, I looked yours up and it doesn't look like it will fit
