airmatic to coilover conversion

any info on this ? looks like the fronts bolt up just fine with the many available coilovers for this car, but what about the rear ? it appears the rears
need the e350 lower control arms. Is this true ? can I just extend the coilover shock body ?

A totally different approach but why not keep Airmatic system using Arnotts ? As far as I know, those Arnotts seem to be quite reliable and you would not deal with the hefty (at least it sounds like that ) job of conversion ordeals

if you are talking about airmatic on your CLS550, well, I don't think that is even a 212.

custom coilover suspensions have to be carefully tuned to the vehicle weight or the ride is awful.
