What to look for in a 2011 E350 Wagon

Apologies, as I'm certain this has been asked before: I'm considering buying a 2011 E350 Wagon with pano roof. Pre=purchase inspection coming, but what should a novice like me be looking for? THANKS

What mileage in on the S212 you're looking at? I have a 2011 S212 and am approaching 98k mileage. One thing that I can think off the top of my head is the Airmatic rear suspension. The air springs and compressor are pricey if you have to replace. Arnott makes replacement airbags that are cheaper than OEM MB and have great reviews from those that installed them. Check to see if oil was changed regularly. I change mine at the 5k interval instead of 10k using Mobil 1 0-40. Check the front and rear differentials. Check to see if the gear oil was changed. Check the condition/shifting of the transmission...see if the transmission fluid and filter were serviced. I service my transmission at 50k interval.
Also check the pano roof for leaks...has been reported as a problem with the pano.

If it was dealer maintained, see if you can pull the service work done by the VIN number from the servicing dealer. Alternatively, you can run a Carfax to pull that information if it was serviced at a MB dealership. I absolutely love my S212...has the relative amount of usable cargo space as an SUV with way better handling in the corners.
