It seems the key is programmed correctly since it can bypass the immobilization module, i.e. it recognizes your car. Have you got the mechanical key out of the key fob? Does it work on your doors and trunk?

If all the above works, it seems the module is waiting for you to synchronize the key. I have never done this, but I have read the following steps here https://www.benzworld.org/threads/pr...emote.1286985/ . Read post #4

Here is my guess, let us see, key was ordered with the correct VIN. It arrived, and somebody forgot the process, the customer MUST bring the car at pickup for synchronization or reprogramming if defective.

Been there before, NO car at the premises, NO key

I live in sweden the key was ordered from germany for my chassis, when i insert the key it says frogtsmimh key whait and the red diode lights up after about 2 min the odometer comes up and the key does not work I take out the key so the same procedure happens again! !! and I can not open the doors or the boot lid with the remote controls, I put the key in the lock and remove the misnus pilun from the battery and put it back it starts the sealing but the car can not be started as soon as I pick out the key it is the same again, I GOT A NEW PROGRAMMED KEY FROM GERMANY NO ONE THOSE THOUGHT IT WAS STRANGE BUT THE NEW KEY DOES EXACTLY THE SAME, YOU CANNOT RESET EZS DRAW THE CONTACTS AND RETURN IT SO MAYBE
