Apple CarPlay for Early 2011 E350
Hi all,
I purchased the Road Top unit for 2011-2015 and the connections for my car were not even close. I guess the early 2011 were different from the rest of the W212 Mercs. Anyway, has anyone had good luck with any other manufacturers of aftermarket Apple CarPlay adapter units for the early 2011 W212?

You need to order a Carplay unit based on what version of NTG your vehicle has... 4.0, 4.5, 4.7, or 5.0/5.1. Early W212 is likely 4.0 NTG... search the forum, there's threads on both 4.0 and 4.5/4.7 installs.
