E 220 Wagon, 2012 mod.
Sensor A0045429918

Hi all !
I have a 2012 mod. E220 CDI wagon with Xenon hedlamps.

I have a faulty B22/8 level sensor on Left front and need a new one, as it is quite expensive i am trying to source it from a local chop shop.
As it seems this sensor is widely used on different Mercedes models, so my question`s is:

* Will i need to program/code a new/used replacement sensor, or is it plug and play ?
* Any way to find out which model/placement that has the same length on the link arm/rod (Could probably swapped over the rod, but on my car it is missing)

Have found a local part from a W246, B180, placed left side rear, but dont know if the linkage/rod is the correct lengt...
Regards:
Jan Ove

Hi Konigstiger !

My VIN is: WDD2122021A668173

Thank you for helping out, and also thanks for the PDF doc.

I also have a corroded plug on the wiring harness for the blind spot assist radar sensors, could you maybe also find the part number for new harness ?

Regards:

E 220 Wagon, 2012 mod.
Hi !
Thanks, so what you are saying is that i need this specific part number, and it will not work with another sensor with same number (A0045429918 with the correct lever lenght) as i was hoping to be able to use one from a w246, B180 that is available local here.
And does a new/used sensor needs to be programmed or coded to the car or is this plug and play ?

I only need the sensor body and lever, if the mounting bracket is not the same i will just move it over to my old bracket.

Regards:
Jan Ove
