the new fronts look like they would stick out 25mm more. You would have to put a straight edge level on your fender and measure how much your tire can come out before hitting.

I have a 37ET offset up front and a good 3-5mm of poke. A 20ET in front would stick way beyond the fender. It would look ridiculous and cause issues for you. Good luck

Those would probably bolt on and fit up front due to the narrow 7” wheel, but here’s the rub with trying to fit C class wheels on an E class. The E class requires a minimum 97 XL load rated tire due to the car’s weight. I seriously doubt you will find a properly load rated tire to fit that skinny 7” wheel up front. If you can’t find the proper tire I would pass. Don’t chose looks over safety.

On those, I wouldn’t be concerned up front, but the rear wheels may be pushed too far out. 48ET stock vs 38ET. My 9.5” wide rear wheel is a 52ET for example. They may fit however, but you would need to mount them up to verify fitment and I know that may not be possible. I’d hate to see you buy them and have an issue. If you go Vossen, they will set you up with a perfect fit.

Beautiful ride. Not a fan of that OEM wheel so totally understand why you want a different look. Vossen will set you up. Have fun!

I remember to have ET at 28 and the wheels do stick up, but I actually like the looks. We don't have much rain, but some mud splashing on the sides is the only disadvantage.

I like those. No issue up front. I have some concern about the rear interfering with the shock. My 9.5 “ wide wheel, once again is an 52ET and is very close to the shock. I would only buy those if they clear the shock.

The best photo I have of my rear clearance:

whats your take on wheel spacers? if you have a 52 et then its probably flush w the car.

52 is actually into the wheel a bit and I could probably use a 10mm spacer for a much more flush appearance. These are OEM E63 wheels and I trust the Mercedes designers to have engineered them properly. Yes, you could use a spacer on those and move the wheel out further to avoid any suspension contact if you need to.

at what point would longer studs be required?

I’ve never used spacers, but assume even the skinniest spacer (5mm?) would require new lug bolts. Wherever you buy the spacers from should be able to sort that out for you.

I was researching the spacers in the past and the 5 mm turned to be the most difficult.
2-3 mm spacer will still allow original flange to center the wheel.
Thick spacers will have grove for original flange and new flange on top of it.
the 5 mm is not thick enough for making that, while you loose the original grove, so avoid that size.
When I neve used spacers on MB, I did own several dually pickups and some of them have spacers in 6" (150 mm) size. Working just fine.
