E350 Common Rail Sensor
I'm trying to locate the common rail sensor on my 2012 E350 3.5L Blue Efficiency engine. I realize taking it to the dealership may be easier, but I'd like to exhaust all options before I take it there. If anyone has tell me or show me with a photo where it is that would be awesome. Here is a picture of my engine.

You speaking of diesel engine ? You mentioned common rail.
You engine photo is I think is M276 yes ?
Gasoline M272 or M276 engine will have that sensor you speak of, which I am assuming you meant Fuel Pressure ( rail pressure ) & Temp Sensor, see below :
Its always at the fuel rail for sure if High Pressure sensor.
To remove the air induction system :
Have fun................

Better view and visual assist on how-to. Becareful, at stand-by ( engine OFF ) there is 100+ BAR or 1,500psi plus of fuel pressure in that rail. You need to bleed it well and carefully.
