Roof Rack

Good Afternoon everyone,

I am trying to install the roof rack from my wife's Audi on to my W212 Sedan but the pins aren't the same, the audi are on the side and the Mercedes attaches on the bottom

Is there an adaptor that I can get or is there something that can be done.

I've attached the picture of my roof and the rack pin

Thank you for your help

If it's a Thule, you might be able to swap out the mounting brackets for the correct ones? Or maybe sell those to an Audi guy and start over?

At the very least, you will need new mounting "feet"

Dear MBWorld: Can you help me fit my Toyota headlight into my W212?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, Yakima makes a nice system, about 500 for the basic two bars and four brackets, Thule is 650 to start. If the crossbars are either brand it's around 150-200 for four new "feet" I believe Thule made the ones sold at Mercedes, they were more but had the logo.

I may still have a Thule set with ski bars, but they were for a regular sunroof car, not the pano, I think they may be different, as they apparently are for the wagon versions. I used them on my '13 but never tried to put them on my '12 with pano, I would check, but their currently halfway between Cleveland and Montreal. {Jersey]
