Strange noise in engine w212 E350 2015
Hello everyone,
I'm hearing a strange ticking noise from the back of the engine of my E350 2015, near windshield (continuous after warm up, doesn't vary with rpm).
Car has 78k miles, oil level ok, (recently purchased).
I checked front of the engine (fans and belt, all ok) noise not coming from that side, but the back of the engine.
Any ideas??

The high pressure fuel pump on the M276 is notorious for developing a loud ticking sound. From what I have read, it is nothing but an annoyance. The ticking sound eventually went away on my E350.
