W212 Stiff Ride?
One of my renters put some 26" disk wheels on his Ford, and they look like pancakes. Asked him if his speedometer was still correct. He looked kind of funny,,, "Ahh, Never thought of dat"

so like, 17" wheels use 245/45 tires. 18" wheels use 245/40 that are essentially the same diameter but a little wider with a little less sidewall. 19's use a /35 size, and 20's would use a /30 size which would have almost no sidewall at all and be strictly for glassy smooth racetrack or just showing off.

As far as changing the comfort suspension, the easiest way would be to sell the sport car and find and buy a comfort car. Changing suspension would be quite a lot of work, springs shocks the spacers, the springs are matched to the weight of the car according to the options in it so different comfort cars have different springs. The comfort suspension rides an inch or two taller than the sports suspension.
