2013 mercedes e550
i use my cigarette lighter to plug in my radar detector. the cigarette lighter has stopped working. any idea how i can fix it.
i plugged my radar detector into a friends cigarette lighter and it worked flawlessly.
so my cigarette lighter is the problem.
any help on how to remove the old one and replace it with a new one is greatly appreciated.

It must be fuse problem . I had a problem with my dad's car as well . I had plugged my phone charger or mp3 transmitter ( I don't remember which is which ) in there and all of sudden I had heard a popping out noise . The funny thing I was using that junk thing properly prior to that

is the fuse for the cabin cigarette lighter in the front fuse box or boot?
I read online it could be fuse 71 or fuse 9 for the cabin cigarette fuse.
