I have a 2014 E250 Bluetec 4Matic.
No distronic or blind spot. I believe it’s a PRE SAFE issue but no present codes are stored.
This is an odd situation where I cannot find any info about it but I noticed that on the instrument cluster under Assist Graphic, there is a symbol (I've attached some pictures). No codes are present, upon startup, so I was wondering if anyone had insight on how to enable it.
Whether Distance warning is enabled, that symbol is still present.
If anyone can give some insight it would be much appreciated!
Not sure I understand correctly, but if you get warning displays that your proximity systems, braking, Distronic, or blind spot systems are suspended or inoperative on start up, it is 99% of the time linked to a main battery going flat.
Hm that is odd. I’d first start by getting someone who has Xentry to preform a calibration of the Radar Sensors. It’s possible the bumper was removed and it through off the sensor.
That is my best guess. It says off on mine on start up and disappears.
