Kind of weird but the AMI MMI 3.5mm aux cable that I have for some reason works on my android phone but it doesnt seem to work on my MP3 player. The MP3 player is a Sony NW-A105 which is also running android. It should be a simple plug and play since its 3.5mm right? What am i missing that my mp3 player doesnt want to play audio through it?

Connecting the NW-A105 through BT works but i have to pair it after every restart which takes 1-2min each time. I have also confirmed that the 3.5mm on the NW-A105 works as corded headphones work perfectly.
