Managed to get a really good deal on a Wood Steering Wheel from a 2013 SL550 - $545 CAD with a leather stitched airbag.
Bought a second wood steering wheel to retrieve its vibration motor as my heated steering wheel (Non-Sport) had a different vibration motor. - PM if anyone is interested in the wood steering wheel!
Retrofit was pretty simple but removing the board and transferring it over was a bit difficult as there were more connectors from the heated steering wheel that required removal and placed in the new steering wheel.
Decided to not pursue replacing the steering column to remove the heated steering wheel function as A. Good to have the ability to swap back in the future and B. It just wasn’t worth switching around/selling my old steering column. C. Calibration and Recentreing was something I didn’t want to take on. D. Find an EU one with the Limiter Stalk when it’s time to change the clock spring.
