Question 2015 mercedes e550
every site i seed that has spark plugs for my car list the package contains 8 spark plugs. why do the all list 8 spark plugs. i thought i needed 12 spark plugs 2 plugs per cylinder which

equals 12 spark plugs. am i wrong? why do the all list 8 spark plugs? and what would be the best spark plug for my 2014 e550.

Last time I checked, 8 times 2 was 16, not 12. The M278 takes 8 plugs. Bosch is OEM, run NGK plugs if you're tuned or on any sort of ethanol.

My '03 had 16 plugs in an 8 cylinder, so yes they used to do that, the 212's have one per cylinder.

that was probably the M113 engine, which yes, was dual plugged and had 3(?!) valves/cylinder

Yes, and if I remember correctly the S600 had 24 spark plugs.

Also pretty sure my '07 S550 only had eight
