Bumper mounted radar sensor fell off - code C375300

In my '14 E63 yesterday I got the blind spot inoperative warning. Scanning showed code in the SGR - Radar Sensors Control unit (N62/2). Code was C375300 Component "B29/6 (Left rear bumper radar sensor)" is incorrectly adjusted.

Based on online search, I expected to find the relatively common sensor with corrosion or swelling. Instead I found that the sensor and the cradle that holds it was hanging by its cable. The cradle that holds it is usually welded to the bumper cover, but apparently fell off the bumper cover. I could clearly see the multiple "pin holes" in the cradle and bumper cover where they were originally "plastic welded" together. I securely glued the cradle back to the bumper cover in the original location (realigned the pin holes).

Unfortunately, I still get the inoperative message. I cleared the code from the module, but it recurs the next time I start the car.

Is this likely a damaged sensor / wiring - or does it need to be recalibrated using ADAS? Thoughts appreciated.

Update - was able to successfully reset with Xentry. Unsuccessful reset attempt was with ThinkCar ThinkTool PROS. Working again.

What adhesive did you use? I have the exact same problem. My amateur hot glue attempt didn't do it. I'm thinking Gorilla Glue next.

Can you describe the adaptation procedure?

Can you describe the adaptation procedure?

I cleared the radar error using Launch x431 pro. but not by clearing errors. I had to go into variant coding. and send the coding to the rear radars. Now is Perfect.
